Language delays

Every child develops at their own pace. When the words aren't coming, the worry is real.

What it is

Understanding language delays

Language delays affect how children understand and use words, sentences, and ideas. Some children are late talkers who catch up quickly; others benefit from early, focused intervention. We assess both receptive language (understanding) and expressive language (speaking) to build a targeted plan.

Why it matters

Every child develops at their own pace. When the words aren't coming, the worry is real.

How we work

What sessions look like

We meet your child where they are: babbling, single words, or early sentences. Sessions use books, play, and routines to build vocabulary and sentence structure naturally. We involve parents closely so strategies transfer to home and school.
