Feeding & swallowing

Mealtimes should be easy. When every dinner ends in tears or gagging, the whole family feels it.

What it is

Understanding feeding & swallowing

Feeding and swallowing therapy helps children who have difficulty eating a variety of foods, textures, or temperatures, or who show signs of unsafe swallowing. We take a compassionate, no-pressure approach that respects sensory sensitivities and builds positive associations with food over time.

Why it matters

Mealtimes should be easy. When every dinner ends in tears or gagging, the whole family feels it.

How we work

What sessions look like

Sessions are calm, individualized, and food-positive. We start with exploration: looking, touching, smelling, before any pressure to eat. Parents are coached every step of the way. We collaborate with occupational therapists and pediatricians when the picture is complex.
