What it is

Understanding early intervention (0–3)

Early intervention speech therapy serves infants and toddlers from birth through age three who show delays or differences in communication. This is the stage where the brain is most plastic, and where even small gains in communication can prevent larger challenges down the road.

Why it matters

The first three years of life are the most powerful window for language development. Early support changes outcomes, not just for now, but for years to come.

How we work

What sessions look like

For the youngest children, sessions happen through play, routines, and caregiver coaching. We teach parents the exact strategies to use throughout the day, because what happens between sessions matters just as much. We involve both parents and caregivers from the very first visit.
